The motto of our English school in Bologna is "l'inglese par tot", which translates to "English for everyone".
Our students in fact, range from the age of 4 till 99 years old :) we teach General English, conversation classes, Business English, YLE, teens, you name it!
The most important thing for a teacher is to create rapport and use the language to communicate.
You must have a broad knowledge of English in terms of vocabulary, grammar, pronounciation. If you come from a different L1, your accent must be clear and neutral in order to teach the correct pronounciation.
